Tree Removal
When the time comes to remove that 70’-foot tree next to your house, having a competent, trained crew on site can eliminate worries. Even trees that are located in precarious locations are easily and safely removed.
Crown Reduction
Crown reduction is most often used when a tree has grown too large for its permitted space. This method, sometimes called drop crotch pruning, is preferred to topping because it results in a more natural appearance, increases the time before pruning is needed again, and minimizes stress.
Crown Thinning
The selective removal of internal branches evenly throughout the tree to reduce the density of the crown. However, it does not change the overall size or shape of the tree. Crown thinning is designed to reduce damage that could result from crown resistance to strong winds.
Crown thinning may be carried out to admit more air and light into and through the canopy. Crown thinning opens the foliage of a tree, reduces weight on heavy limbs, and helps retain the tree's natural shape.
Dead Wooding
Safe removal of dead wood from a tree reduces the hazard of them falling onto buildings, vehicles, or the public. This is also beneficial for the health of the tree and also helps prevent pest and disease spreading to other trees.
Tree Planting, Moving or Spading
The planting is one of the most important steps to a healthy tree. The selection and proper nutrients along with proper aftercare will result in long and vigorous life for your tree.
The Tree Firm can also move and transplant large trees from 10-inch caliper or less from one site to another. The tree and its root ball are safely and securely transported to the desired location with minimal damage to the tree.
Pruning
Skillful pruning is essential to preserve trees and maintain a safe environment in which to enjoy them. The Tree Firm Inc.'s certified arborists fully understand the dynamics behind pruning and can apply that knowledge while caring for your trees. Assessing your needs, developing a pruning plan, and follow-up inspections are integral components of property management.
Stump Removal (Grinding)
The stump will be ground into chips with a specialized machine. Smaller roots spreading out from the main stump will be left undisturbed in the soil to decay. The resulting soil/chip mixture will be left tidily or removed upon request.
